Peterchurch - 10 minute drive away

Here there is a small village shop ideal for essentials, as well as a lovely village pub and a restaurant.

Hay-on-Wye - 20 minute drive away

Hereford - 25 minute drive away

Here there are lots of cafes, restaurants and larger supermarkets. We can recommend some of the places we love, just ask!

Village pubs - There are lots of village pubs a short drive away with the closest being in Michaelchurch Escley.

Things to do:

Walking

We are surrounded by footpaths with one running through the farm leading to beautiful countryside.

Further afield, the Cat's Back Ridge is only a short drive away as are other walks along the Black Mountains.

Hay-on-Wye

The book town of Hay-on-Wye is our nearest town, it is home to the famous Hay Festival. There are many independent shops, cafes and restaurants as well as the castle.

Activities

There are many outdoor activities in the surrounding area, on the River Wye running through Hay town you can go canoeing, paddle boarding or river swimming on a sunny day. There are pony trekking centres within an hours drive and lots of indoor family friendly activities in the nearby city of Hereford.

The farm

Each glamping tent has its own games, activities and books for you to use. You are welcome to explore the farm along the signed route where you might find some of our sheep or cows!

There is also a small river on the farm where you (or your dogs!) can go for a paddle.
