The Story of Upper House Farm Glamping

Upper House Farm is a working family farm running sheep and calves. We are based in rural Herefordshire near the Welsh border and overlook the Black Mountains. We made the decision to diversify to glamping accommodation in 2021 with just one bell tent and following some lovely reviews we have slowly grown to 4 different glamping options and we hope that there is something to suit everyone. Our glamping business is very much family run by John and Pippa and with help from John's parents.

We want to share the beauty and tranquility of the area that we are lucky to call home and hope that our guests can enjoy a rural escape in a comfortable setting with everything you need. All the amenities on site have been handmade by John and we have just installed hot tubs in the luxury accommodation and can't wait for our guests to enjoy them!

"Everything you need for cooking and sleeping was there for you to use! The views are AMAZING! The pics you see just can't show the incredible landscape. The privacy is also great - only 3 Glamp Poss in the field. Warm water showers at hand too! Things we loved they had: a portable cooker, firewood and a burn kit (firestarter, lighter etc), all the kitchen utensils you need (plates, cutlery, knives to chop stuff, chopping board etc). A very peaceful stay, completely out of the way of everything, but 20 minute drive to Hay-on-wye for anything you need! Will be back again"
